A 280 mm all-in-one CPU liquid cooler specially configured for the MESHLESS MD280 Series.

Based on Cooler Master's latest-generation MasterLiquid ATMOS II platform, this edition has been specified around the internal layout, radiator format, tubing route, and pump clearance of the MD280. It features a 280 mm radiator, extended 440 mm tubing, and an LCD module included as standard, creating a configuration specifically matched to the MD280 platform.

Built on the MasterLiquid ATMOS II Platform

MasterLiquid ATMOS II represents Cooler Master's latest generation of all-in-one liquid cooling, featuring a redesigned pump architecture and internal coolant flow path together with a low-profile pump assembly optimized for compact system integration.

The MESHLESS Custom Edition retains the core ATMOS II platform while adapting the radiator size, tubing length, and LCD configuration specifically around the internal geometry and thermal architecture of the MD280.

Custom 280 mm Radiator for MD280

The MESHLESS MD280 Series was designed around a 280 mm liquid-cooling platform from the beginning.

Compared with a 240 mm radiator, the 280 mm format provides a larger effective heat-exchange area. Compared with a 360 mm radiator, it achieves substantial cooling capacity within a shorter overall chassis length, making it particularly suitable for high-density ITX systems.

For this reason, we commissioned a dedicated MasterLiquid ATMOS II 280 mm configuration and validated it for both installation compatibility and thermal performance in the MD280 Series.

Rather than simply fitting a conventional AIO into the chassis, the radiator format itself has been selected as part of the MD280 thermal architecture.

No Additional Radiator Fans Required

When installed in the MD280, the 280 mm radiator does not require conventional radiator-mounted axial fans.

The integrated crossflow fan inside the MD280 manages airflow throughout the chassis while simultaneously driving air through the 280 mm radiator for heat exchange. The CPU radiator therefore shares the same unified airflow system used to cool the GPU, motherboard, memory, and other internal components.

This eliminates the need for an additional pair of 140 mm radiator fans and reduces the number of independent fan systems inside the chassis.

Instead of operating as a separate cooling subsystem, the radiator becomes an integral part of the MD280 airflow path.

Custom 440 mm Extended Tubing

The tubing length of the MESHLESS Custom Edition has been extended to 440 mm to better match the radiator position, CPU socket location, and preferred tubing route inside the MD280.

In a high-density ITX system, tubing length directly affects installation flexibility and bend radius. The additional length allows the tubes to follow a more natural path, reducing unnecessary tension and tight bends while providing greater flexibility across different motherboard layouts.

LCD Module Included as Standard

The MESHLESS Custom Edition includes the ATMOS II LCD module as standard. The display can be used for system information, custom images, animations, and other personalized content.

In compact systems, the additional height introduced by an LCD pump module can often become an important compatibility constraint. The ultra-low-profile pump architecture of ATMOS II allows the complete assembly to remain compatible with the limited CPU cooler clearance inside the MD280, even with the LCD module installed.

This configuration has been physically validated by MESHLESS.

Ultra-Low-Profile Pump Design

The low-profile pump architecture of the ATMOS II is one of the key reasons we selected this platform for the MD280.

In a conventional mid-tower chassis, a few millimeters of additional pump height may have little practical impact. In a highly integrated ITX system such as the MD280, however, pump height can directly determine clearance with the side panel, tubing, and surrounding components.

Thanks to the compact pump structure of ATMOS II, the complete cooler remains compatible with the MD280 even with the LCD module installed.

Designed Around the MD280 Thermal Architecture

The MD280 is not designed around a collection of independent local cooling fans. Instead, its integrated crossflow fan creates a unified airflow path through the chassis, providing cooling airflow for the CPU, GPU, memory, motherboard components, and other internal hardware.

The MasterLiquid ATMOS II 280 LCD MESHLESS Custom Edition was configured around this same principle.

The 280 mm radiator becomes part of the chassis airflow path. The MD280 crossflow fan simultaneously provides system ventilation and radiator heat exchange, while the 440 mm tubing, low-profile pump, and LCD module have all been matched to the internal geometry of the MD280.
