📢 Important Update from MESHLESS
Hello everyone,
I’m Hank, the designer and founder of MESHLESS. Due to a severe flu and complications, I am currently undergoing medical treatment and have temporarily stepped away from work. This is a quick update on our progress.
📌 Production Delay:
The originally planned product restock for March 2025 will be postponed to April or May. In the meantime, I am in discussions with our new partners who will assist in running the project and restoring normal operations and services.
We have successfully delivered all pre-orders and received valuable user feedback. Below are key updates on ongoing issues and improvements:
1. PCIe 5.0 Riser Cable Availability
- The new PCIe 5.0 cable has passed testing.
- We have placed an order for MD280/MD280 PRO.
- Manufacturing will take approximately one month, and they will be available for separate purchase.
- A replacement guide will be published soon.
2. Crossflow Fan Noise at Low RPM
- Some users have reported noticeable noise at lower RPMs.
- The issue is caused by the fan’s motor wiring touching the chassis, amplifying vibrations.
- Our design already includes flexible silicone mounts to reduce vibrations, but wire contact may still introduce noise.
- Solution: Ensure that the first 5cm of the motor’s wiring remains suspended and does not touch the chassis or fan housing. A detailed guide will be provided soon.
- Future fan revisions will feature softer wiring to eliminate this issue.
3. Enabling PWM Mode for the Crossflow Fan
- Ensure your motherboard BIOS is set to PWM mode for the fan header (e.g., CPU_FAN).
- Press the rear button on the chassis to activate PWM mode (indicator light turns green).
4. Front USB Type-A Port Replacement
- A small number of units have incorrect wiring in the front panel Type-A USB ports.
- We have ordered replacement cables and will ship them free of charge.
- If you are affected, please email contact@meshless.design to request a replacement.
5. Lost Package Claims
- Our shipping partner is investigating lost package reports.
- If your package is confirmed lost, we will either issue a refund or send a replacement.
- Please allow some time for processing.
6. PCIe 4.0 Instability on Some Motherboards
- Some motherboards, such as the GIGABYTE B650i, may not maintain a stable PCIe 4.0 x16 connection.
- Temporary Solution: Set your motherboard’s PCIe slot to PCIe 3.0 mode in BIOS.
- The upcoming PCIe 5.0 riser cable has been tested to resolve this issue.
Thank you all for your patience and support. More updates will be shared soon!
Best,
Hank & MESHLESS Team
